The Advanced Clean Fleet (ACF) regulation mandates a 100% zero-emissions transition for on-road vehicles with GVWRs of 8,501 lbs. or more, yard tractors and some light-duty package delivery vehicles between years 2023-2042. Fleets impacted are divided into drayage, public and federal and high-priority fleets. California is currently the only state affected with other states working toward adoption.
