What Is Drop and Hook?

Understand how Drop and Hook fits into your supply chain

Drop and hook is when a truck driver drops off a loaded trailer at a designated location and then picks up or hooks up to a pre-loaded trailer for another delivery. This process is typically quick as there is little to no waiting time for the driver to load or unload the trailer. Advantages of drop and hook include reduced downtime, increased driver productivity and improved efficiency within the supply chain.
